YOU HAVE TO EAT WHILE ON VACATION IN ORLANDO

YOU HAVE TO EAT WHILE ON
VACATION IN ORLANDO
TIPS FOR MEALS AND DINING AT YOUR VACATION POOL HOME

You Have To Eat When On Vacation

Food is expensive at any tourist attraction, WDW is no exception. Moms are the major planners of family vacations …and it is a welcomed article which can offer time saving tips and still promote health while on vacation!
You are the best judge of your families dining needs and schedules.  Vacation is not the time or place to change your dietary consumption as your itinerary will be so compact that you will do yourself and family a huge favor by not challenging your digestive tract.  There is nothing worse than a “tummy ache “on vacation. So tip #1- Stay as close to your current dietary regimen as possible.
Begin each day with a healthy breakfast, to include your protein and complex carbohydrates- this will level out your families’ blood sugar level and your gang will not be hungry for several hours. Curtail a mid-morning lunch by eating a healthy, large breakfast.  Try the best fruit in America, the Florida fresh fruit choices!  All of your family will welcome a fruit smoothie with their breakfast.   All vacation homes are fully furnished – Next2Disney is a Home Away From Home
Snacks- every 2 hours will help curb the “I'm starving” responses as your waiting in line for your favorite high speed ride!  – nibble during the day to keep hunger under grips - stay cheerful to visit Mickey Mouse!
( trail mix- granola bars- grapes – apples and cheese cubes), remember crystal lite for your water.

Tip :Water is Free at all counters at WDW.

Grocery Stores are plentiful in the Orlando / Kissimmee area.  And you can pre-order your groceries to be delivered upon your arrival to save time.  Healthy options are available and you can pre-plan your meals to acquire the exact particulars for each meal, not overspending.
Plan your menu early and bring with you to the store.  Categorize dinners into food groups for quicker shopping.  The Idea is to not leave food behind, only to be disposed upon your departure. Save money and resources, but only what you need.

DID YOU KNOW?   The average family of four will spend $1900.00 for 7 days at WDW restaurants.

You can reduce your costs dramatically by dining at your vacation home, and planning fun meals…packing healthy meals in your soft coolers and renting a locker at WDW. Plan a pizza night with your favorite Disney Movie.  The total cost of the night will be about $30.00- $40.00.  Compare that to a family of four at a mid range restaurant.
Celebrations are Wonderful at your Vacation Home

A family of 6 can easily stay within $350.00 not to include additional alcohol.  Tack on an additional $100.00 for impulse treats that brings your grand total to $450.00.  Consider the savings of $1450.00 dollars by just purchasing your own food and preparing it at your vacation home. If your driving vs. flying to your destination, plan on packing some non-perishables like your spices and personal favorite coffee from home for additional savings.

Check to see if your vacation home offers a “crock-pot”, if not, purchasing one is a huge savings for time and preparation.   Arrive home from the parks to a delicious meal which has simmered all day.  This is a favorite of our family.  LOW STRESS for meal preparation.
